My Story - Michael Bottomley
I’ve been in the Lift Industry since 1981 and a professional Lift Consultant since 2002. I have extensive experience in retail, hospitals, universities and residential developments.
I worked on The Sage in Gateshead, The Mahanakhon Tower in Bangkok and successfully modernised the worlds largest Paternoster. I have carried out final inspections on over 400 escalators and moving walks.

My Story - Nancy Xin Li - Liang
Lift Designer
I studied for a BEng in Hoisting Transportation and Construction Machinery from Nanjing Architectural and Civil Engineering Institute (Currently Nanjing University of Technology) graduating in 1990.
I joined MovvèO Lift Consultants in May 2017, in a Business Development role but advanced quickly into vertical transportation traffic analysis, strategy, design and CAD drawings.
I joined Foster and Partners in July 2019, as Senior Vertical Transportation consultant.
I have worked on a number of prestigious projects specialising in data gathering, study, traffic analysis, strategy and it’s design, as well as the CAD drawings in the field of vertical transportation. I provide CAD and Lift Design support to my associates.

I joined the lift industry in 1978 and have worked in the lift industry for most of my adult life. I administer lift maintenance contracts ensuring clients get the best service from their Maintenance Contractor and keeping Clients protected as duty holders under L.O.L.E.R. I assist with site audits and inspections and provide secretarial support for our VT Consultants and Authorising Engineers.
